I got my money back through Paypal this afternoon, they found in my favour.

I never received my GHD's (as yet) so I cannot say if they were going to be fake or not.

I can say however that the seller has been in constant contact with me regarding the order & I doubt he has anything to hide. After all, if someone gives you all their contact details they would have to be mad to attempt a scam. On this basis I reckon the seller is possibly a victim of circumstance. Anyone who has dealt with Paypal/Ebay will know this.

Can i ask have you ordered from us? Or are you just jumping on the band wagon? All of the items i have ordered are genuine we have had a couple of items come through which are not upto standard, and these have been sorted out with the buyer. We have had many happy customers and this leads me back to the original question have you ordered from us or are you just typing because you have nothing better to do?

Sorry to go off the original topic, but I've just found these on the hotukdeals website, £89.95 delivered, with dvd, thermal protector, mat and free next day delivery. There were a couple of complaints on HUKD about stock shortage in August which have hopefully been rectified by now. Tempted to give them a try as it seems a good deal with the freebies included.

It doesn't help the people who Mr/Ms DMBproperties is clearly still messing around but here is the cheapest and safest deal on GHDs I've found. Mine went up in flames last night (but they were over five years old).

Boots are selling Mark4 on their website for £98 (free delivery over £45). http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?productid=1089016&classificationid=1030610 They are also offering triple points at the moment. If you go through topcashback/quidco/the piggy one you get 3.5% off. There is also a code for 10% off on the codes and vouchers board. Put all that together and you're talking at least £20 off and you don't need to worry about what may or may not be counterfeit!

You need to be quick though as triple points ends tomorrow!
