I would complete the claim through Paypal asap before the seller has no funds left in their paypal account or they close their bank account as it is them not paypal who refund you. If the seller closes this account then you will probablly only get £15 from Paypal...unless you have used your credit card as the source of your paypal paymnet, then you can claim it back on that.
ALWAYS use your credit card as the Paypal payment source on expensive purchases.
I am no expert on ebay/paypal but the guys on the ebay forum on here are very good and will be able to help you more....so it may be woth posting a link on there and see if they know better.
  • It's ok at the moment as the seller hasn't got any items listed, but as that could change at any time, it might be wise to amend the first posting on the thread to reflect that the item wasn't genuine so other people don't get taken in. Sometimes people order before reading the rest of the thread ;)
  • I know nothing about these things but I did see GHD mk4 with £20 off on some Tesco mailshot. HTH.
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)

Yeah, they're currently £99.99 on Tesco Direct after the £20 comes off, plus £4.85 postage. I can't find anything more than a fiver off voucher code though, so still finding HQ Hair to be the cheapest at £89.95 + £2.50 postage here. Although Tesco have got triple points which works out as about £12 in clubcard deals.... hmmm.

Still seems a lot though, anyone found cheaper for non ebay mk 4s?

Edited to say that I've found a tenner off code or a 500 point code worth £20 in clubcard deals (plus the 300 triple points) on the discount voucher search facility on the discounts board, so Tesco working out the best for me. Still looking for better though..... anyone??
  • Have just checked tesco direct website the ghd wides are out of stock and it does not say it is the mk4 does anyone know what model they are selling?

I'm thinking of getting a pair from Tesco, the normal width ones. I'm thinking if there are any problems (regarding them blowing up) thrn Tescos are good for the warrenty.
One other thing, do Tesco sell an extended warranty on them, like Argos?
Because GHDs get a lot of use & an extended warrenty wouldn't be a bad idea.
I will look out for that £10 off voucher, or can you post a link to it?
    Thanks

Couldn't find a thread, but go to the discountfinder here and do a search for all tesco codes, there should be 24 that come up. 14th one on the list seems to work for me, Tesco Direct or Tesco Books £10 although it has been reported to have expired by some.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I will pm it to you ;) , all very secret squirrel... shame the codes aren't allowed on this board.
