LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Northern Rock PLC said Barclays PLC now holds an indirect stake of 5.01 pct, or about 21.11 mln shares, in the former.

The story in the press is that some poor UKSA member bought at £7 and wants compensation for NR not giving an earlier profit warning.0 -
They have suspended the dividend because they are in preliminary talks with potential buyers.
