Did you have to have a lot of lessons?0 -

So you were tailgated and flashed (so to speak:D) when you were having lessons? What did your instructor say on those occasions?0 -

I said I've seen many of these scenarios and if you actually read the thread properly, the scenario I was referring to was the "staying left and suddenly trying to dive across at the last minute" that another poster mentioned.
I'm sure we've all experienced impatient drivers. Perhaps you are one of them0 -

And perhaps you should gain some experience on the roads before seeking to criticise the actions of others.0 -

I'll come back in 10 years shall I with a different view? :rotfl:0 -

Hopefully, as Albert Einstein said - "The only source of knowledge is experience."0 -
To be honest if you were sat in the outside line with plenty of space in the inside lane for you to pull into and were not signaling your intention to turn right then yes you should not be surprised to get flashed by the vehicle behind you that wants to make quicker progress.
Wether the car behind you is breaking the speed limit illegally is immaterial, irrelevant and not your place to judge.0 -

I'm sorry that some of the responses have been less than helpful, but that's what happens on internet forums. I shall try to be constructive.
The issue is that the driver behind was probably not clairvoyant, and so had no way of knowing what your plan was!
As Biggles has said above, if you had been signalling right then he could have decided it was safe and within the rules to overtake on the left.
On the other hand, if he thought it was too early for you to signal for the junction, then he might have been uncertain about your intentions.
If it was in fact too early to signal, then it was probably also too early for you to have changed lanes.0 -
