Returning perfume without receipt

OP didn't say she wanted a refund, she said she wanted an exchange, which isn't a problem for most large stores. So not so silly after all.

Thank you. I've only ever exchanged something when I knew what shop it was from so was worried the barcode would be different. I'll try after christmas

That said, while their website supports what you said, I suspect you should only be exchanging items that you actually purchased in Debenhams.

That's what I have done previously, which is why I wasn't sure this time not knowing where they had been purchased. I will take peachyprice's advice, if they refuse I am no worse off and can try ebay

Debenhams don't exchange perfume, with a receipt or without a receipt.

(Unless faulty, before anyone pipes up )
