Just done through my insurance through the Pru/Quidco, i choose the breakdown cover which added £0 extra to the policy but i have just got the email from the pru and it says i have no breakdown cover ?
It clearly says about the cover when you click the Quidco page as it takes you here http://www.prucarinsurance.co.uk/
I guess im better ringing up after Quidco has tracked ?
Are you sure your logged into quidco when you do this? It takes you to this link when its highlighted in red ie. no cashback. But when logged in it takes you to quite a long forwarded link which doesnt begin with https://www.prucarin.......etc0 -
Yes i was logged into Quidco as it has now tracked.0

I did my daughter's insurance through the Pru through Quidco and all is well, the cashback is tracked and due in Nov and the free breakdown cover came through separately but quickly without any prompts. Good luck.0

Thanks guys - I'll give it till Friday and if no free breakdown comes through i'll ring up
My current breakdown runs out in Dec this year (can't cancel and get cashback) so it will be worth it to me. Didn't want to ring up and jeopardize my quidco cash back by them transferring me to a web offer not a quidco offer. But seems thats not the case!0 -
UPDATE:
The free breakdown cover came through yesterday :money:
I normally pay £20-£30 a year for breakdown, so effectively i've paid £100 for a year of car insurance :T0 -
Crazy! I just received my breakdown cover this morning (my policy started on 01/10/07). Thing is I didn't even know about the breakdown cover offer. I went through Quidco and my £130 has tracked, should payout in Nov. Thats all I was interested in.
Well this free cover is a Brucey Bonus! Even if its arrived 4 weeks late (blame the Liverpool postie strike I guess). I checked on Greenflags site and the same cover would cost £68+ !!!

Is the next step from "validated", received then paid, or is there still the cahnce it could go to "declined", cost me £205 for fully comp and Gren Flag, a good deal without the cashback but if it comes through obviously even better.0

I think once its validated it should 99% payout as this means its been validated by the merchant0
