Options
I thought it was on the 1st but it's now the 3rd and still no sign...

Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks

It is paid on the 2nd working day of the month and backdated to the first working day.

ie - it will be in your account tomorrow, backdated to today.

Does that also apply to BOS? Wanted to know if my Tesco direct debits have been accepted to allow me to still earn interest. Nothing showing yet for this month.

Waiting for my TSB and BOS to pay interest this month, already got interest from Nationwide on Saturday and from Tesco on Friday the 30th.
What happens if you push this button?

Not quite correct. It will be paid on the day after the first working day of the month. In April interest was paid on Saturday 2nd by both TSB and BOS but that won't happen again until Sept 17 ;)

And there was me eagerly checking! TSB hasn't paid yet,nor Halifax. Tesco appear to have paid on the joint account but not single account. Bizzarre.

Silly question. Is interest calculated daily?ie if you open the account half way through the month will you get half the interest, or is it calculated at the balance at the end of the month?

    We know this :D

I decided that to opt for simple/practical over technical info. I'm thinking they will have a nice surprise in September 2017 haha ;)

I believe Tesco pay interest on the anniversary date of the account opening, ie if you opened it on 18th Sept then interest will be paid on the 18th Oct.

    Yes, interest is calculated daily.
