  • A few INS for me, skin blossom conditioner reduced in a sale. I don't usually use conditioner but as this is natural, and was recently recommended to me, I thought I would try it. Also IN is Liz Earle TSV on qvc so (technically 7 INS)

    I have 2 UUs:-

LUSH Brazened Honey mask. This was nice but not wow factor! Emma actually finished this off at the weekend when she was home so in turn I UUed a Murad mask of hers. This has been sitting in the bathroom for ages.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    UU

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy Deep Treatment 20ml - HG. I had this in the stash and decided to use it up. It worked just as well as other Aussie deep conditioners I've used. I love the results. Have an almost finished Dove deep conditioner in the stash so will use that up before getting any similar products. WDBA.

The toner looks like it will be used by the end of the week and I also have an almost empty bottle of Herbal Essences conditioner which should be used up by the end of October.

I've not managed to use up much makeup so far so I've done a make-up bag just with a few things. I can change this over once in a while so I can rotate products. I currently have:

Nivea Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturising Day Cream 50ml
Gold by Giles Eye Shadow Quad
P.S. Illuminate Skin Brightening Cream 50ml
    Barry M eyeliner
    MUA Pro-base Eye Primer 7.5ml
Maybelline Rocket Volume Express Waterproof Mascara 9.6ml
L'Oreal Paris Glamshine Reflexion in Sheer Pitaya.

The good thing about this is that I have everything set out ready for the morning. :) How's everyone else getting on with make-up?

Deleted_User - yep am getting staturory sick pay, its not a lot compared to my normal wages and doesnt even cover my rent that i pay my mum but its something i guess. I just want to be in work. Yep i did used to work in health records, it was a temporary position as they didnt have enough funding to keep us all on for longer than that :(. Ive been applying for other jobs in NHS at hospitals round here but so far not heard anything. Been rejected by 2 supermarkets too :-/ my GP wants to see me before she sends the letter back to my employers that they requested from her about my ability to work and her take on it, so will see whether we get anywhere with her input. They sent me a rather rude and sarcastic in tone letter the other day about how i had advised them i would pick up my sick note and post it in, which i did, but that they were waiting for it and until they recieved it it would be on my records that i was unauthorised to be absent from work. Funny that because i havent been given any shifts to go in for, any suitable work to do, i have a grievance dispute in progress and i had told them that my sick note had been extended and also my GP had advised them that she is unhappy for me work where they had sent me to. Sick note was in post to them. I dont know how i can be absent from work i havent been given, but there you go :-/ if they would give me work i could physically do and give me some shifts to do i would be there! Im a bit annoyed my record currently looks bad when i havent been working because they made it impossible for me to do so. :(

Ohh and i have a christmas penguin though i dont think i actually smelled it instore just bought it as it was cute :o . May have to get it out to smell if its olive branch! :)

I had a TA almost a UU today- sorting out garage and found a hair mask id nearly finished at old house. Only had a small amount in but it smelled horrible so i binned it. Avon naturals chamomile & aloe hair mask - WBA as it normally smells lovely and does the job well. It had just been open for too long and sat in a storage container then a garage for months didnt help.

I found my bath & body works hand washes too today whilst sorting out. Was so excited to find them. I pulled out winter candy apple for downstairs bathroom and toasted coconut & vanilla for upstairs. Love the bath & body works ones.

I hope everyone who has been feeling sick is now feeling better.

Gemmajenkins - that does sound like an eventful day! Glad you were able to put it out of your mind quickly.

Gemzie - it's ridiculous how your employers are treating you but it's good you have people on your side so stay positive and hopefully it will all resolve itself soon. My OH lost his appeal and can't afford to seel legal advice/go to tribunal so he's decided to just move on. He has a job interview today so I'm hoping I don't go into labour as it's 5 days til my due date!

VALM - the colour scheme sounds lovely. I used to share a flat with a guy who had bright colours in every room which took a bit of getting used to but in hindsight I loved it so I've made sure there's a couple of bright feature walls in my house.

    INs:

2 x Silvikrin 400ml hairspray - got them on offer and will probably will last the whole of 2017

    UUs:

TBS Seaweed oil control gel - WDBA - replaced with one from my stash. I'm so glad I was able to swap the lotion for the gel as I've realised I love this moisturiser. It doesn't last as long as my previous Loccitane one but I think overall it's still more cost effective.

Korean sheet mask - 1 left to go

Garnier Miscellar water 250ml - this seemed to disappear in the blink of an eye! Replaced with 400ml bottle - love this stuff. My face feels properly clean after using it.

Have a good day everyone :-)

I'm still plugging away at my make-up. I find foundation and primer go down quite well but cream eyeshadow, cream highlighter and all powder products just go on and on.

  • Hi everyone!

I'm sort of on the mend but still up half the night coughing... I'm out and about though and generally feel better in my self.

I am some UUs to report
Mystery Lush shampoo bar (it was pink with white flecks) WMBA seemed to disintegrate quite a bit but that might have been how I stored it. I have another one to move onto that's also old and then no back up shampoos to speak of!
Omorovicza foam face wash GWP WNBA not into foaming style face washes leave my face too tight. I UU in showers as I do like a morning face wash that isn't as much effort. I have another small size or two I can use up from their brands more GWPs but then for Christmas I plan to ask for Oskia Renaissance cleansing gel which I had once and loved for in shower.
Tiny sample of creme de la mer ligh cream. WNB as cannot afford to!! Seemed to help clear my skin up a bit and did feel nice but I'm not really sure from that trial quite why it's soooooo incredible (a big jar is a thousand pounds!).

I'm off into town today partly because I have to rescue a bank card I left in a shop. I plan to do some xmas shopping but avoid any ins for me, unless freebies!

Gemzie your work sound awful! I'm so unimpressed continually by how these processes treat people. There's just so much work stress and unfair practice about. You're doing really well to keep your head and I wish you all the best. Would you ever consider working for a university? I have before and I found them to be ok and I know they have a lot of admin and sorting roles as well as student facing roles that might be manageable and nice.
