I will definitely buy this again, I love it, but as I have enough cleansers to probably last me for the majority of 2017 I will have to wait for a while:eek: Doh - I see it is on offer at Boots, I wonder if I have enough APs. Seems not:)

It's a great cleanser. If you haven't tried the moisturiser or cleansing oil, I'd recommend them both :A

i hope everyone is well.

My mum has now started a campaign for me to have gel nails done for the wedding "so i don't have to worry about them". she wasn't impressed when i said I'm not worrying about my nails anyway and I've never had gel nails done in my life and don't intend to as i don't really want anything on them that comes with warnings that they may ruin my nails!

I finally have some UU:-

Espa moisturizer - Ive been alternating this with the Liz Earle and this regime seems to have done the trick in clearing up my skin. I think it must have been the changes in season as both of these are heavier than i usually would use so my skin must have just been getting dehydrated.

Amie cleanser - WNBA, this was ok but the smell was a bit too artificial and perfumey for me.

Konjac Sponge - this randomly started growing mould so into the bin it went! I prefer a proper flannel now anyway for cleansing.

Avene thermal spray - using this as toner now to get rid of them. now on my last bottle!

evilsquid, it sounds like your family are still trying to control things about the wedding in other ways.

It's like they're thinking "ok if we can't choose what she wears, let's try and choose what her nails, hair, makeup etc. is like"

I really hope you carry on putting your foot down and telling them it's YOUR day and YOU need to make all the decisions and that they should be happy regardless what you choose.

Morning all

Thought I'd update with my empties for the month. Many of these were fairly close to being empty but I got bored so started using something else or I liked loads but were nearly finished so started using something else.

Am hoping to mover very shortly so thought it would be better to use up all almost finished items before starting on new one.

Superdrug sensitive mouthwash 500ml - wmba was okay nothing special but did the job.
Dove gentle exfoliating nourishing body wash 250ml - wnba not scrubby enough for me
Elemis pro-radiance cream cleanser 150ml - wba I really like this cleanser but using others before another purchase
Daisy eau de toilette 50ml - wmba was okay but I prefer other daisy fragrances
Daisy shower gel 75ml - as above
Sensodyne pro-enamel multi action toothpaste 75ml - wnba too watery for my liking
Gilette antiperspirant clear gel 70ml - wdba this is my holy grail deodorant and have another almost empty
Collection longer lash lengenthing mascara 8ml - wmba good mascara for the money but have others to use.

UU, Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation
2 INs - Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation . . . if it ain't broke . . . I do have a bottle of Bobbi Brown Long Lasting foundation which has been hanging around for a few years that I'm aiming to use up before I break into the new Rimmel. If this is "Long Lasting" I'd hate to try the ordinary stuff!

Also IN - Bare Minerals foundation kit from TK Maxx. Amazed to find this in my shade for £15 - mineral veil, foundation and concealer - when the foundation alone is about £25 from the counter and mine is nearly finished. They usually only have the really dark shades left in TK Maxx up here.

More OUTs and fewer INs required - not looking good for October (three outs in the whole month!) but here's hoping for November!

I've finally managed to UU a handwash I've had for 18 months and used daily (just by me). I'm amazed it's lasted so long. My hair conditioner has its lid off so that should be finished soon and my toner feels like it only has a few spritzes left.

UU
Garnier Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion 250ml - This was the normal skin type and was lovely. It made my skin soft and was scented with Aloe Vera which I liked. WDBA but sticking to what I have for now.
Flower Shop Winter Berry Antibacterial Handwash 500ml - This was good quality for something that only cost me £1.It didn't irritate or dry out my hands. Have replaced this with a Dove handwash which came with last year's Christmas presents.

Some uus and ins to report! Making a bit of progress now im settled in new house. Still got a load of stuff in garage i need to dig out and i need to re organise my toiletries into plastic tubs again (i pht them all in smaller cardboard boxes for moving as full tubs of toiletries were too heavy to carry). We dont have much storage space inside house but we have a weather proof outside lock up which is where im going to keep all the stuff that can stay in there and just bring in what i need. I have a couple of INs to report - Next velvet bloom eau de parfum 100ml and Next velvet bloom body lotion - i finished my 30ml bottle of this a week or so ago and was gutted to find it was discontinued as i love it so much. I got lucky on ebay and managed to get a gift set of it someone was selling and im so pleased to have another bottle of it. I didnt really need it, but i love it so much i had to get more .

So thats x 2 in.

Now for the UU's so far. This month is absolutely flying by.

Lush lord of misrule shower cream sample - WBA as full size and already have done. This is a thick consistency which i liked, and it lathered up really well. I loved the scent of this too. Its a bright green colour which i was worried would stain my shower mat but it didnt luckily.

Lush olive branch shower gel sample - WBA as full size. On initial sniff i disnt think i really liked the scent of this one and was worried it would be slippy in shower as it looked oily. It wasnt the best gel in terms of lather and it was extremely watery in consistency but i did like the scent in use and the smell on my skin after (the scent changed for me in the shower) and i didnt find it slippery either. So will definitely grab a bottle of this at some point!

Lush blousey shampoo sample - WBA this was a very thick shampoo and it felt wierd to apply but once id rubbed it in the smell was gorgeous and i really liked it. Not sure how much difference it made to my hair but i will look out for a big tub of this as i really loved the smell. I could smell it for hours after washing my hair.

Lush curly wurly coconut shampoo sample - WMBA i really loved the smell of this but i hated the coconut bits, they were a nightmare to wash out as my shower isnt the most powerful and i was worried about all the bits clogging the drain. It would be perfect without the bits they were raining down like dandruff whilst i was drying my hair too and the bathroom floor was a sea of coconut :-/ i might give it a go again because i love the smell but the coconut bits are a bit off putting!

Lush american cream conditioner - WBA and already have done. I love the smell of this and it does a good job on my hair.

Lush yuzu and cocoa shower cream sample - WMBA, already got full size stashed. I did like this but its not my favourite. It lathered up well but i couldnt work out what it smelled like, almost chocolate orange but also a hint of other fruits in there too. Strange but i still liked it and would use it again.

M&S peach & almond body butter 200ml - WBA although i think this is discontinued now. This had a lovely scent and was a really nice thick consistency. Did the job really well and lasted ages.

Im currently still waiting to hear about my job which is really worrying me and getting me down. Been applying for other jobs in case they dismiss me but havent heard anything yet. My GP (on my side) and their OT (on their side) are currently arguing over whether i should be able to return to my job at old care home, my GP agrees it is most suitable place and manageable for me but they are arguing it isnt still after i raised a grievance about disability discrimination. Its now been 2 months and im still on sick leave as my GP wont let me work in a position thats not a reasonable adjustment and wasnt suitable for me. Meanwhile my anxiety and depression are worsening as im desperate to return to work plus im losing wages because of what they have done. :-/ really fed up with it all as i havent done anything wrong. On the plus side i saw surgeon other day who said my mri scan results were still ok so i have respite from spinal surgery for another 6 months as its safe to leave it a bit longer. Which is good. Just need my job back anyway i hope everyones ok xx

Literally just had another UU.

Lush key lime lip balm sample- WBA and already have full size. Love the smell and taste of this, it makes me crave skittles sweets!! Its ok but not the best at moisturising my lips but still nice for daily use.
