Got a horsey table top sale on Sunday, and I'm planning on selling as much as possible - and I promise not to spend the earnings on more horsey stuff - except on a pair of short boots, as the heel on mine had split in two. :( means i'm walking a bit lopsided at the mo :)
I'm also going to make an effort to make friends with surveys again.
Missing my money saving mojo. :o

Used Advantage Card points to buy a load of essentials from Boots yesterday, saving £15.58 and did an hour's overtime today from home, another £13, bringing my total for October to £51.41 so far :)

Hi, can I ask you good people a question (as if I ask on the correct thread they will just tell me to read the T&Cs - I've tried but can't find the answer)...

I have a Co-op membership card which has now turned into a loyalty card, but I've not received my new card yet, still using the old white one. Across the road from my work is a Co-op so I do buy things from there - milk and teabags for the office and occasionally lunches or something to take home for dinner. I can see cash is starting to build up on the card but I have no idea how to spend it. Does anyone know if I can just have it deducted at the till or do they send out vouchers like Tesco?

I would ask in the shop but I always use the self service till as they only have one checkout open usually and have a queue half way to London Bridge!

    Thanks...

Not sure this will be much help to you. I've received my new card but haven't used it yet.

Just had a look at the letter that came with it and it says:

5% for you. We'll put 5% of what you spend into your Co-op Membership account. You can spend this next time you buy from us or save it to spend whenever you want.

On the back of the letter it says:

.......you'll be able to spend your reward whenever you like.

So I assume it works like Boots points. Could be wrong though:o

Thanks! I noticed today on the self service till, a Spend my Points button has appeared so I think you're right.

Today has been an awful day with no additional income at all :( However the Co-op card has a balance of 48p just from buying the office milk and tea bags so this could be a nice little earner ;)

    evening all....

welllll my problem now is I have no idea whether it is a cold or hayfever. I have a feeling hayfever or I am allergic to work. When I get to work my eyes and nose start streaming. I am fine before I get there. been taking hayfever tablets and while it doesn't stop everything it helps a little.

so I have absolutely no idea. still knackered but for a good few years I used to have deep sleeps. the ones where you dont dream someone could get in and out of the bed, and I wouldn't know about it. now i have started having intense dreams at night so I wake up tired and unrefreshed.

anyway... I have done 2 days overtime at work but wont count this until next month when I know how much extra I get.

am doing a ms project but it is very tiring and hard work. wont count that money either until paid.

have made a little money, but I need to sit and work it alll out.... she says....

I havent got my new card yet and my nearest coop isnt that close but it all adds up. keep an eye out for offers on things and whoopsies. it all adds up like you say :)

and like lynnejk and XandersMum said earlier count vouchers when you cash in. we know you will spend it at some point but for now it is money made.
