Didn't get on here last night as hoped as I was having horrendous problems with the laptop:mad:. ..............
Have been accepted for that MS project I PMed you about:j:j:j.Seems to have to think about it before doing anything - so having to go at snail pace or it seizes up.
Wondering if it's the 'puter, Internet Explorer or Outlook though - or it could just be that I'm on a really basic package with the talk a lot people and new phones using it as well ??
Think I'm going to start at the furthest point and upgrade my package, especially with having the new, smart tv as well. It is just about to go up anyway and for £3 a month more I can get their better fibre package - advertised for new peoples but they have just pledged to make all deals available to all customersI'm going to look into it t/m.
Meanwhile, well done CBC with getting accepted for the new MS job :T
With all the 'faffing about' I guess I'll have missed it now. Maybe it will come around when I'm more set up for it. Daren't try atm with the 'puter problems and my eye op is next week.
Well done Nomi for your perseverance and getting your cash-back sorted and in your sky-rocket :j
Looks like you're back on a roll KM - brilliant :T
Great news Connor, you're doing well and good luck with that car
Sorry for long post and trust everyone else okay and :hello: Aesop
Hope you all have a thrilling Thursday

£43 in from selling looooads of stuff on ebay, some for myself some for my parents who gave me a small cut.
£50 in from my second job, I consider student finance my main income and every so often I do ambassador work for the uni, which I consider my 2nd job.
so £93 to add presuming that's all in order.
Seen a very cheap low mileage but tatty Polo for sale about 300 meters from my house and I'm tempted to put Octobers money into buying it because I'm fairly sure I could make enough to sort Novembers profit!
Thats some great earnings Connor! Good luck with the car, I buy and sell collectables and designer clothes to help boost my income, even stuff which people are throwing away, every £5 counts here and there! :jDocumenting my journey from full time support worker to full time eBay reseller0 -

I totally sympathise with what you're going through, Lynne. I'm still having mega problems and not having a smartphone or any other internet access except my laptop I'm feeling very vulnerable and frustrated:eek:. My best time is the first time I switch on as it seems to be Ok for the first 15 minutes. That's why I'm having a quick scoot round the MSE forums while I have the chance. Then it's downhill all the way after that.
I suspect my problems are 75% to do with a clapped-out laptop but wonder whether it's Windows 7 which is playing up as well. I think Microsoft are soon to (maybe already have?) withdrawn support for it. I think you said you are running Win 7 too.
Mine seizes up to the extent that after up to 10 minutes of aimlessly waiting for something to happen I think I may as well shut down but the darn thing won't obey:mad:. I've had to do the Forced Shutdown so many times now and then it refuses to restart for at least an hour:(.
Sorry I haven't been around as much as usual to congratulate the money makers. Well done to everyone who has made anything:beer:
It's my birthday today (I won't mention which one:o) so please take a slice of cake, everyone:bdaycake:. Have a really big slice as I've just stepped on the scales and had a shock:eek:. No cake for me then:(0 -
