    Hi all,

Everything has been a bit manic with the house purchase, so money making has had to be put to one side. Hopefully, now that I'm on half term, I can get things moving - both with the house and making some extra funds!

35p from Topcashback and £15 from Valued Opinions sorted this morning.

Well done to all you moneymakers and Savers! I've had a quick catchup.
Been MIA for most of this month, been manic in our household, and feeling like i hadn't really got very far with my goal of 75.00
Up to a few days ago total was 1.56!. Ive done two table top sales, and made loads of money for the business, collected loads of stuff for charity, but made a little for me (but it all adds up)
    So now adding
    2.71 - neobux
    1.00 survey
    8.00 gfk
    17.00 boots

    =30.27

    However
Planning permission for the arena came through - and work already completed! result - biggest grin ever! The company managed to squeeze us in and have everything arranged within a few days before the weather turned. Mum and Dad have helped me out with the cost, so i just need to chip away at the bit i own.

Aesop - thanks for the heads up about shopprize, im nearly at a cash out, so will find any and All reciepts to get me to total

And I won an ipad mini 2 days ago! I literately bounced! :j

    Wow! Good for you xx

Wow! Lots of great things going on in people's lives at the moment. Congratulations to everyone who has anything to celebrate

3 new things to enjoy, Lynne, if you get a new telly too:j. I know replacing the originals was forced on you by circumstances but it's lovely to have new things to enjoy once in a while. We all know you aren't careless with money so I hope you get a fantastic amount of pleasure from the car, the phones and the TV. I'm like you with TV watching, it's OH who is the fan. Give me a good book any time, except for the rolling news channels for which I admit to being a bit of an addict :o

Has anyone on here had a PM from someone called PENNY MOUNTAIN directing us to a make a million from 1p challenge with details on eBay? He/she is a new poster and it looks a bit fishy to me:eek:. Why single me out unless he/she is also targeting other people doing challenges like ours.

  • Thanks, Aesop:T. I've done it.

Things had slowed right down for me as far as money-making goes but I've just had an email from Amazon notifying me that I've sold one of my books. I was wondering where all the readers had gone;). Really chuffed as it's one of the two most expensive books that I've got listed and it's been on there for about a year. Will bring me £29.70 after fees so I'm off to parcel it up and get it posted tomorrow. With a bit of luck the money will hit my bank account before the end of the month:j

    I hope you've all had a good weekend:beer:

That sounds just the same as me CBC - rather read a book but tend to have BBC news channel on later in the evenings. Can't listen to Radio 4 and read :rotfl:

  • Home from my holiday in Portugal with my three old school friends. Have just laughed and laughed whilst we have been away. Real nice break but now its back to reality and hoping to make some money in the last two months of the year.
Cant believe I have been on this thread for nearly a year now, Where does the time go?

My shop and scan parcel arrived whilst I was away and Ive had a brief look at it. Looks a bit complicated but guess once you get into a routine with it, it all falls into place.

My one concern with it is that my husband does quite a bit of the family shopping whilst I am at work and I can see me running round the house trying to scan all the things on the receipt. Will have to persuade him to leave stuff out so I can do it. No point in asking him to scan it for me. He rarely gets involved with my extra money making schemes and will think its another waste of time for tiddly bits of money.

    Ah well......
