Welcome Frankie.. of course you can join in!! The more the merrier!!
I usually have no motivation on a Tuesday.. no idea why but I am usually back flying by Thursday and playing catch up! Just boring myself silly at the moment packaging ebay sales.. why is it so blooming BORING!?!?!? BUT I have £140 in sales today and so far this month have gained a whopping £432!!! The first half paid for the childrens shoes for school and this latest lot will pay a bill off.. oooh what can I sell next?!?!?
I've had enough now though and have run out of big bags to send stuff in so I'm off to find uniforms and going to beddy-byes.. so much for my early night!!
Morning Denise! Thanks for drawing it to my attention we are lacking deep cleaning.. I shall try to add a deeper cleaning task to the level 3's .. see if it makes a difference.. if that is ok with everyone?? It is all surface cleaning and flinging the clutter really.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
This week I am going to try and do these on the correct days rather than play catchup the whole time.

Hi again,
I've just put the dishwasher on a 'clean' cycle with some finish dishwasher cleaner that I found in the cupboard, but what should I use on the washing machine in the absence of soda crystals and white vinegar?
I have bleach, malt vinegar, baking powder, bicarb....can any of those be used?0 -
Morning all :hello:
Just a quick post before I attack DD's hair and then the bathroom, her bed needs making and then I'll do the dishes. I also need to put a wash load in but its raining so I may leave it for this morning as it's supposed to brighten up later.
Thanks for the ebay challenge - I still have alot of stuff in Turbolister which didn't sell last time. I'm going to update it (no doubt the catergories will have changed  ) and I'll relist on Thursday evening for 10 daysWhich means it will finish after payday and the rent has gone out
:rotfl:
I'm going to have to add the ironing challenge to my list as with all the new clothes shopping last Thursday, and OH being away over the weekend I've got a basket full since Friday:mad: Right, best be off to update Turbolister.
Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all, good evening Denise aswell
Looks like DPs Dad will be guarantor if we need him to so that's ok. Spoke to referencing department who said because we've lived together over 1 year it will go off joint income so that's ok. Going to house to see what we need taking out if tenancy goes ahead. Just waiting for the council's reference then all the paperwork will be in (been trying to chase it up, housing officer is useless!!), will just have to wait for landlady from there see of she accepts us as tenants.
Ebaying - with moving could do with clearing out first but concerned over the hassle with posting etc, so going to bag/box stuff seperately to go on ebay once we've moved, seems sensible!
Right, must dash, hope you all have a good day, I'll join in with flying later because boy does the kitchen need it! Where did I put the tape measure?............One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Morning lovelies
Dusty Yes I often feel like that, got no wise words so all i can say is it would be ten times worse if I didn't, but I do have to force myself most of the time.
Ok EBAY, I've got an account but I've never ever used it, so if I do start to list some things I may need a little help from you guys lol be prepared for twenty questions every hour lol. But I really need to make some extra cash as we're really struggling now and this (hopefully) will be an easy-ish way, got loads of big stuff though, prams/Fridge freezer etc can't stick those in the post

I'd use a couple of glugs of bleach and switch the machine off for a bit halfway through the cycle when it is full of bleachy water... You'll have to give it an extra rinse though when it is done I would guess.
Off to re-assesss my days list and see what I can get done!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

you can say they are for collection only on the listing... I sold my dishwasher and someoen collected it.. they were really pleased with it as well!!! I thought it was naff hence I bought a new one!
Prams can be posted but it is a faff.. they have to be boxed and bubble wrapped and alsorts.. and then you have to arrange for them to be collected.. but that's up to you and if you can be bothered with that hassle.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Nail polish remover brings off the first! .. the Sally Hansen stuff is reduced to 50p in boots!!!!!! All of it!!!
And packaging.. ebay!! LMAO!! I even reuse the bag they send the posting bags in!! I use loads of recycled stuff as well.. decent carriers make great bags.. but you need parcel tape. Brown paper often used as packing for parcels I straighten and flatten and reuse.. hubby thinks I am REALLY tight.. but I careth not.. I call it environmentally sound and economical practice.. ok.. I'm just tight as a nuns knicker elastic!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
