I'm going on a jumper hunt.. I think I might have chucked most of them in spring.. I canbarely move the pain is fabulous today.. my RSI is off on one too.. Must swap buggies over and might just sell the pink one.. I am certain it is that which makes my RSI worse.. the pliko is fine but the cheapy mothercare number sets it off every time..
Loo fixed so I can send hubby off to work safe in the knowledge I can poop and we can send an invoice to Npower or their shoddy workmanship causing a blockage.. as far as they know we called out a plumber because we had a blocked loo... I didn't know what caused it!!
I have a small tesco delivery at 12-2pm.. £13 saved there! plus 100 extra points!!
I'm going to do some baking today I think that tends to warm up the house quickly.. and I'm going to make a rapid start on these curtains for the middle room. I'm also going to have a reshuffle in there so the bunnies are closer the radiator and further away from the doors.. they are SO draughty and the bunnies have no shelter/box/housey bit... Oh I am also going to put an ad on freecycle for a hutch for them. a proper wooden one.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Morning everyone!
Big HUGS to all who need them, particularly lil_me, Denize and pigpen. Woke up early this morning, as we had to call the fracture clinic to make an appointment for OH to see them about his foot, but turns out he doesn't have to go until Thursday, just in case it is swollen, so it gives it time to go down a bit. We had my fresh fruit salad for breakfast that I made yesterday, with some natural yoghurt on it (yummy - it contains strawberries, canteloupe melon, fresh pineapple, banana, grapes and kiwis).
Just dropped OH off at work, and he hobbled in on his crutches. He's still not very good at using them yet, and keeps on trying to put his broken foot down first, but he's determined to go to work still - climbing the 2 steps in the middle of his shop was interesting. Have to pick him up at 4.45pm so have the house to myself for the rest of the day, as the cat has gone missing again cos they came around with the lawnmowers this morning.
Time to make the most of an empty flat, and get on with some flying. My friend is coming to pick me up at 1pm tomorrow to go to lunch, and I want the place to look better than it did the last time she came around (this will be tough as OH has brought in more stuff since).
Will check in a bit later to see how everyone is doing.

Having a quick coffee, its amazing how much you can get done when you give yourself an hour!
I've cleaned the kitchen light fittings and replaced them
Hoovered through
Scrubbed some stubborn stains off the laminate floor
Dusted
Cleared our 'dumping ground' shelf.
Rang music shop about getting bass restrung
Our downstairs is open plan, so I hoover everyday and try to wash the floor every other day. It keeps everything looking good then.
I've got paperwork to do, its currently in piles down the side of hubby's side of the bed. He's in the States at the moment, but I will get it sorted today!
Also going to tackle the floor in children's bedroom. Two of my daughts share 12 &9 and they are so messy. I thought if I did the floor today, it might encourage them to do the sides this afternoon. Even if it doesn't, I can work my way through it till friday when I give it a good clean and change bedlinen etc. I couldn't face haing to do it all on friday, its far too soul destroying.
Thought I'd sort out the cupboards in the utility room as well.
We are going to Australia in November for 3 months, so I'm trying to tidy stuff out a bit, so I don't have to come back to it all. It also means if we get someone to house sit, it will be much nicer for them.
Going to finish my coffee and then do another hour or so before lunch.0 -
