Evening all, my kitchen is just about done, looking better than it's looked for the past couple of weeks
Dishwasher is almost full, so that will get a clean out once it's been on and then emptied.
The oldest litter of rat babies should have their eyes opening very soon, they are sooooo cute at the moment, all velvety and soft. The younger litter just look like pink sausages.
lil_me - huge hugs, I agree with the others, it sounds like bed might not be a bad idea.
sproggi - pets sound like such cool pets.
tiamai - those hampers look great, I'm sure whoever they are for is going to love them
pigpen - if ever I get the desire to have children I'm going to look back and your posts, it's enough to put anyone off. Then again I have no intention of having them anyway

Huge cyberhug for lil_me
Its very difficult to try and do it all, go to bed relax and take a fresh look at the situation in the morning. I remember my friend doing her law degree as a single mum to a 3 and 5 year old and holding down 2 part time jobs. The times I had to have her kids while she rushed over to uni 40 miles away to hand in assignments at the last minute or ask for an extension. Its still morning at 11.59 and if you havent been given a deadline you might be able to finish it when the boys are at school and still get it in. My pal did hers and we were all so proud when she got her law degree. fingers crossed for you.

Right, after crying my eyes out and DP eventually noticing something was wrong (without just throwing a strop calling me hormonal) he came down and we went through what I'd tried to do together (he's doing the same course but had given up on it) anyway stupid me being tired, stressed etc was hammering away at a question wondering why it wasn't right, well it'd help if I could add up to 180
115 and 75 isn't 180
see all I needed was a fresh pair of eyes on it which just shows how bad I'd got with stress trying to rattle through it. Anyway I've redone that and it works
so that's 10 marks out of the 75 earned if it's right-long way to go! Or 1.25 marks to gain to be able to retake, now comes that explaination.....
Basics are it's minimum 30% pass, if I don't get 15% can't retake it, so 15% is MINIMUM. I will speak to them about extension in the morning but states on the paper must be applied for in writing 2 weeks before date due (seems harsh but that's what it says) with proof of problem (don't know what I could give as evidence apart from my terrorised kids!)
KAZ - The 40 miles to hand in in person, done that with 2 of the recent assignments, will have to with this one (due Wednesday so it's either post in morning or by hand Wednesday which gives me an extra morning for writing up!) . Taking this course on would have probably been ok, then DS1 hit issues at school and I was in meeting after meeting sorting out applying for SEN school and had him at home on the days school couldn't cope with him. Work over the summer was hectic but managed it. This has been the final blunder!!!
Thanks for letting me have my rant, for some reason made me sit and think right, time to have another lookwhich made me/us see the silly mistake. The support on here is amazing, I can't thank you enough for the support you have given me and my family over the last few weeks, which have been tough I think is a mild term to use. Anyway that question is done so putting it away, 10 minutes me time then bed!
PS - Visit to new house went well, have decided if we get it to make them leave washing machine and FF in (mainly because mine won't fit! my big American style one will have to live in the garage) so I can use theirs instead of mine, if I'm paying for furnished may aswell use them!! DS2 refused to leave the house for school this morning because of neighbour being outside and kept saying 'I want to not live here any more'
so fingers crossed housing officer gets this reference done asap and landlady accepts us as I hate seeing him so upset.
One day I might be more organised...........

Are you on fancy-rats.co.uk forum ? There's lots of pictures on there, basically I've been posting pictures of all the litters everyday, you can really see the colours coming out.
They are hard work at the moment, and I dread them opening their eyes and eating solid food as then apparently they turn into little pooping machines, maybe I should be thankful that I only have a litter of 6 and a litter of 8.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0
