    ljaneyr sending hugs.

Apple muncher Well earned victory dance and a great list.

    ccl Hugs and congratulations.

I haven't spent any money. Still using up odds and ends for meals. Lots of washing dried. Still going carefully - brought piles of bedding and towels upstairs and very glad to get off the stairs. Put clothes in a bag so I had a hand free to hold the rail.

DS2 started rugby again on Saturday. He played in a charity match last year and they suggested he went back to playing but in one of the 'old mens' teams now. He got concussed, sent to walk-in centre and on to A & E for a ct scan. Can't play for 23 days (can train in 2 weeks but no contact) and an impressive array of injuries.

He seems to have matured a bit. When he tried out for the rugby teams at university he got concussed, was driven to the hospital (after the trials were concluded) and went bungee jumping when he was supposed to be being careful. He didn't make the team but he was adopted as a mascot and went on all their social activities. Then went on to set up an American Football team at uni.

Today I am grateful for good weather, a visit from DS2 and getting things done (slowly).

mothernerd getting curious about what it is. Might not be able to do it fully :( as we'll be away from Tue to Fri and maybe again Fri to Sun (cabin and then friends). But I'll def try depending on internet access.

Realised i only bought some chicken and sausages. No mince or chicken pieces or beef. Will not go back to the shops till the weekend at least and better get creative. Being major meat eaters that would like to cut down. Still got a bit of left over roast chicken too and chorizo and bacon. Loads..

Mothernerd what an introduction! U have put so much effort into this months challenge already. I'm in. I have birthdays and planned outings galore this month but I will budget and try my hardest. Last month I achieved 11/14 nsd so this month I will aim for all 15. I had a nsd day today so I am at 1/15.

Another NSD for me so 2/15. Not much exercise today, just 20 mins walk to/from work. Decided to cancel the gym class I had booked for this evening as I've been feeling cold and achy all day with earache :( Loaded up on paracetamol and vitamin C, hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

    Hi all.

I have cycled everyday since the kids went back to school and did 62 miles last week, my legs are feeling it though. Today I will do a short run in the evening but it won't be pretty I don't think.

I have bought DD a designer bag on ebay for her birthday, it is used but in very good condition and I am trying not to buy new things at all if I can. Also got DS a winter coat for school on ebay.
