PE have been in place at Asda for months. It is most certainly not a rumour.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you do get out more, avoid Asda and the PE Mobsters

Don't know if it's every store, assume so

Without visiting every store in the country, that's not an easy question to answer. Reports have been coming in for several months as signs in Associated Dairy car parks have gradually changed from Not-so-Smart to Parking Lie.

My local one in Zumerzet fell to the scammers about six weeks ago.

  • I'll give anyone odds at 5-1 that if there in my local Asda and there using ANPR cameras, they will be replacing the cameras every week.

I'll give anyone odds at 5-1 that if there in my local Asda and there using ANPR cameras, they will be replacing the cameras every week.

And I'll give you even smaller odds that if they do infest your local ASDA they won't have bothered to get the required planning permission or advertising consent.
  • I think it all depends on location. In Worksop ParkingEye scam ASDA and other shops on a retail park close to town centre, as they do on a visit to Sutton in Ashfield, the latter appeared to not have ANPR unlike the first. Sutton is again a town centre position. In Mansfield the ASDA is way on the outskirts in a suburb and has never had any restrictions...haven't visited in ages so could have changed.

Brighton Asda is now infested by ParkingEye.

  • Unfortunately my local Asda has been infested by PE, had a quick look at the signs, there's no mention of ANPR, I thought PE always used ANPR, do they have to say that ANPR cameras are in use on the signs?
