Hi MOT (and every1 else!), Im not surprised youre suffering from headaches mee darlin. Its outrageous what you are going through. I havent read all through the posts yet and I apologise now if this has already been suggested, but can your local councillor or MP help you? Have you contacted any single-parent support groups? Im at a loss at what to say to help you. You are such a strong woman, I would have cracked by now, or camped in the garden of the Head of Housing's house and sang AGADOOO at the top of my voice all night.

Ironically earwig, the HB reviews dept wanted to visit on Mon pm! rang them today to tell them I am moving out on 'Thursday' to be told that they will make another appointment when I am more settled!

Are these people actually communicating with each other??? Its unbelievable the way youre being treated.

I know I found it unbelievable too that one dept within Housing isn't aware of what another is dealing with - as we all have allocated HB numbers I would've thought that the computer systems would have flagged up a change per HB number.

Could well be some ice lollies in there - its a bit like a black hole!!:rotfl:

keep a note of this mistake theyve made. I dont know what you could do with the note but I had to offer some advice! Ok ok, Ill eat mee lolly and keep quiet! xx

I know this has probably been suggested, but how do you feel about applying to the court to get the warrant fo possesion suspended until the HLO revisies your situation. This wouldnt cost you anything you would need to go to the court tmwr and fill in the form. I know you want out of this house but I am just worried that you will move into temp accomadation and then have to move again into the perm accomadation. This is a lot of expense and upheaval for you all. As the rent is now covered by HB the LL:mad: will be happy(that kills me) as the sale has fallen thru so he will get income and you and the twins can stay put till the council pull there finger out.
This might also help the situation when you go in front of the panel it would certainly save you some very hard to come by money. And would be far less unsettling and upsetting for the 3 of you.:j
I know there are no easy answers or solutions MOT but might be worth mulling over tonight and maybe trying to speak to I_t tonight about it as well.

Still a few bits but will take those to I-T's tomorrow on way to the Midlands, then it will be ready for defrosting when I get back. Been round downstairs with a black bag seeing what I can chuck out too.

Need to sticker various things that I want to go in a container that I can have easy access too - but what do I sticker?? I want MY bed, do I have to take my bedding - I want to cos its so snuggly, will I need knives and forks, kettle, microwave, pans, dishes, plates ect?????????

I really wish the HLO had answered my emails

Hi Gill, I had thought of this too but don't know what detrimental effect it would have on my case if I was to 'refuse' temporary accomodation now .

Just worked out cost of moving everything to containers (4 @ £46.53 per week + moving costs + ins + VAT) on Tuesday - £841:eek: wish Crisis Loan had been confirmed . God knows what we'll have to live for the rest of the month!

data protection means that they can only contact other departments if you give them permission, they do not have automatic rights to see your information in another department.
