I know its early but I'm off to bed as I want to make sure that I have had enough sleep to be able to cope with any 'bad news' I may get from the council.
Have had a lovely evening making up stories about the adventures of a £5 note with DD and DS - they have wonderful imaginations:D .
Anyway, nite nite all you lovely people and thank you all xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Morning MOT
Just a quick ((((hug))) and the hope that today will bring you some good news...all my friends at work keep saying has that lady had any news??? your our main topic of conversation where I work (petrol station) even the customers ask...your an invisible celeb, and my inspiration when I feel down and think my life sucks then I think "MOT" and am grateful for where and and what I have.
When this is all over I think you would make a fantastic volunteer helper to a homeless charity. Im a great believer in once youve experienced something like your going through then you know the ups and downs and are empathic with people who have been where you are.
In your shoesId be training to take over the HLO`s job, I had enough of the DWP person dealing with me when I was unemployed, making me feel worthless and nothing, I was lucky enough to manage to work for them for a years contract, and was appalled at the attitude behind the scenes of a Jobcentre, I let my views be known, suffice to say a maverick wasnt on there agenda and at the end of my contract they waved me a fond farewell and they said with a big sigh of relief.
Keep strong all things have an end and your situation must have a time limit, I just keep hoping you have a positive phone call or letter and your life can move forward again, just sitting knowing your life depends on some faceless office wallahs horrible, give your children a big hug and I hope todays better than yesterday and loadsa hugs and thoughts from me.
Pssst the idea of a party when this is all over sounds good, inside the foyer of your local council office would be a good venue????!!!!!!
Lotsa positive vibes flowing to you

good luck with your decsion if they do accept you as homeless you do know that most councills only take you on as a temp tennant at first it usally a year to two years after that you become a perment tenant and that you mybe placed in a bedsit or flat while you are on a temp tenancy and then you will get a house or perment flat i know as my freind has two kids and was homeless they put her in a bb for 8 weeks then moved her into a two bed flat and after 20 months they gave her perment tenantancy and she then got a three bed house this was south beds councill dont know what councill you come under so dont be surprised if your moving days are not over yet but on the plus side it gave my mate loads of time to save up to do the house up as it wasnt worth her putting carpets down ect as she knew she would be moving again at anytimei cant slow down i wont be waiting for you i cant stop now because im dancing0

hi tis me again
Yes Earwig thats the type of tenancy Im on now Licenced and I have to behave myself(whatever do they think Im going to be doing)
I had to accept the first thing offered to me as I was coming out of a hostel for Dom Violence ladies ( yes we were and still are Ladies).
But.....my best friend(its my OWN front door key) means more to me than a lottery win,and Ive lovingley painted, scrubbed and made do to make this place my home, and the saying East West Homes Best is a true mantra to me.
Having had no roof over my head for a while due to bad marriage break up etc I empathise with MOT, keep fighting girl, look em in the eye and dont take No for an answer, plus do you want me to come and use my tactful diplomatic gob on the HLO ( ehmm on other thoughts NO, might not be to diplomatic on the way you have been treated so far).
Right brekkie beckons, this DFW sites addictive, absolutley FREE and nice folk too...gosh I am blessed...just keep positive J....
bye for now xxxxxI so want to be like thisu:rotfl: :rotfl: :j :j but feel like this:mad:         all the time and wondering how the heck did I get into debt.....0 -
Hi all,
Just an update to let you know that I haven't heard anything from HLO yet - thought I might have but as nothing has been straightforward with this I'm not surprised!
Taking twins into town after school to spend their birthday WHS vouchers - the Jaqueline Wilson book DD wants has been reduced to half price so she'll be able to get more for her money:D no doubt DS will want a PS2 game so that'll be all his money gone in one foul swoop:rotfl: .
Anyway, will let you know as soon as I know anything :AChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
