I used to do this in a Coroner's Court for families when an inquest was coming up - it helps them to see what sort of room it is & the layout, rather than becoming concerned & nervous about their surroundings so you can concentrate as well as possible on what is actually happening.

That was a good move - you will feel more relaxed if you know what the room is like & where you'll be sitting (and whether you can spit far enough to reach the HLO!)

MOT, I'm so sorry to hear of the crud that's been coming your way on top of the actual situation itself. As always, though, you're the one who comes across with dignity. If some tragic muppet out there can't bear the thought of you receiving some friendship and support in a time of distress without trying to bring you down and stir things up- well, I can only pity them. I don't know what's happened behind the scenes, but it's clearly upset you, hon, and you don't deserve that. Just think, not so long ago you were a name on a forum- now you have friends here and support from so many. It takes someone special to inspire this kind of support and loyalty. Make sure you remember that, ok?

Oh- and as a short squirt, I'm very good at biting ankles very hard! My services are yours- just say the word!!!!!

Need advice - urgent!!

I have to accompany a slightly bonkers lady with a dodgy haircut to an appeal meeting next Thursday and I dont know what to wear!!!!

I would suggest something not too risque - I-T needs to keep his mind on the job, not on your legs

Oh, and maybe wear layers that can be removed if necessary - Councils aren't the greatest at getting the heating right, so it may be either freezing or boiling!

And don't forget, you are the embodiement of the thread, so don't let us down!
