    Hi all,

What a long day! Had texts from the twins saying it was snowing in Hemel but by the time I got back there was none to be seen!!!

Met Dr David Nias - he teaches Medical Students about Psychology at a hospital in London and does bits and pieces in between times like the assessment with me today.

I had to do various psychometric tests and I-T had to fill in 3 about me from his perspective.

Dr Nias also had general chitchat conversation with me no doubt assessing me all the time.

He has to 'mark' the tests yet but so far thinks that I am suffering from Adjustment Syndrome which is apparently is more severe than Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome:confused: ! But in his opinion I have not made us intentionally homeless I just haven't been able to cope with everything that life has thrown at me for the last few years. He will be recommending treatment and suggests that I make an appointment with my GP asap to be referred to the Community Mental Health Team.

My solicitor also told me that she has had conversations with the Head of Housing recently about the appeal date and she feels that the H of H may be starting to buckle under the pressure!

So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep up the lobbying to Daniel Zammit at DBC and Mike Penning MP and anyone else you can think of because it seems to be helping - THANK YOU:T :A fingers crossed

Hi mot - great to hear about the Head of Housing 'feeling the pressure'. What a shame he/she hasn't had to experience, personally, even a tiny part of what you are going through.
Let's keep piling on the pressure.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

    Hiya MOT,
Nice to hear from you. Hope it all gets better for you this year. I will keep my fingers crossed that you will get rehoused asap. Then you will be able to settle down and be happy with your family.
Let me know if I can do anything to help.
