    That's all, Adam -
Life is such a (whatever Mum doesn't like you to say)at times.

Has Adam read The Hobbit yet, Mot? or any Terry Pratchetts?

    Love to all,

    Floss xx
  • Hhhhmmmm I think a 3rd of Jan eviction is probably much less news worthy than a week before Christmas eviction, this change in heart smacks of damage limitation to me. I hope you've some alternative accommodation lined up just in case the appeal doesn't go the way you want.
Where are you up to with your income/expenditure form and proof that the landlord had the property up for sale before you moved in?
  • Ah MOT, kids can be so nasty sometimes, a father who hasn't got the sensitivity to respect your situation cannot be a good role model for his son. Tell DS not to mind this lad, he obviously dosn't have a happy home life, I suspect he may be jealous of your togetherness. Hold your head up, you've kept your family together through so much, no-one has the right to judge you. Keep going.

Thought you were going for a nice hot bath or has the glass of red become a bottle ;):D ?

No he hasn't read the Hobbit or any Terry Pratchetts either, but they are something to bear in mind?

Now Floss, have you got your dressing gown and slippers on? Are you warm and cosy? Is that wine numbing your brain yet:rolleyes: ?

Having been bullied (35 years ago) I can empathise with your DS. I got bullied because I had no father (still an unusual occurrence back then), and it still hurts to remember those days. Adam you are worth twice that other lad. And anyway you have all of us supporting you for the England job which is more than the other boy has!!!

I am so thankful that you don't have to move the week before christmas at least. Still postponing until January doesn't give much time to source anywhere else either. I really hope you get somewhere permanent soon.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Evening all.

Been catching up on today's postings. Bloody hell you people don't work at all do yous? :rotfl:Took me an hour to catchup then I posted a comment on the Hemel's Your Say page.

Good news re the delay MoT. Somebody let me know how I can contribute further to the email campaign. I've had to leave off visiting this thread whilst at work in case eyebrows are raised more than usual .

Adam, I'd love to make a suggestion but I'm afraid mum wouldn't like it and you might get in trouble at school, but that toerag would know not to come near you again  I discovered after my first nephew was born (admittedly many moons ago) that I get VERY protective when it comes to my nephews and nieces and am quite happy to promote (*)** on any child who upsets one of 'mine'. Maybe it's just as well I never had any children :D.

Night all. I'll try to sneak a quick peek tomorrow morning. Don't tell anyone :shhh:

Hi Gforce, I must admit to agreeing with you here, but also if it was to go against me then surely the papers could have similar impact with a headline such as 'Mother of 2 having to face start of 2008 as homeless' . I did also mention to Rw and MM this morning prior to Rw's meeting with the bigwigs that if I lose this appeal then my solictor will taking the LA to court and to the European Courts if necessary - so........???

I have a signed statement from the previous occupiers of the Big House that the cottage was up for sale before I moved in plus the Chair of the Appeals Committee knows the LL so will know that it was up for sale, also I can provide the name of the agent with whom it was on the market for them to check (or perhaps my solicitor should?). Re: I & E all done now, but its hard to prove just what was spent on what as so much was done with just cash:confused:
