  • Oops, it's been a while!

Thanks for the well wishes :D thankfully, the bug was only a 24 hour thing, but it did knock me sideways a bit. Life has been hectic as usual, I don't know where the time is slipping to!

Right, the finances. I have been TTing daily, current balance is £113,800. We have £4.5k stashed ready to OP, however for various reasons to do with DH business which I won't bore you with (mainly tax!) we are going to keep adding to that pot and make a lump OP mid-March. Daily TTs will continue to inch the balance down.

We could have a further £1k in the pot however have been doing up DDs room :) new bed, radiator, carpet, curtains etc - it will all be finished on Monday. She'll be so happy and we've not touched her room since we moved in so it was needed!

I have just listed 5 things on eBay. Also have £50 cash to pay in on Monday, which I may decide to OP immediately- lets see what mood I'm in :rotfl:

I'm being paid a £500 bonus at the end of Feb which will also go straight into the pot. DH has been working lots of weekends (his day rate is much higher for weekends) so that should set us up well for a February dividend.

I think that's it! Spring is edging ever closer which makes me so happy, I wasn't made to live in a gloomy country.

I'll try and check in more often

  • Quick update from me, now have 15 things listed on eBay and all of them have bids :T

There is more to list but I will do that this Sunday whilst DH is at work. It's my diary anniversary soon, 3 years since we started on this journey, be prepared for some rambling :rotfl:

    Oh, and I've just OPd £800 :D:D

Looks like things are going along very nicely.

Time goes quick when you have a diary. I think my fourth anniversary comes up in April. One day I intend re-reading my diary from the beginning, unless MSE delete it!

Great fun watching that 1st bid go in, so you know it will sell :j and if they all pay at the same time - you have 15 things to parcel and post :) just thinking ahead.

    Nice overpayment :T Well done.

  • January OPs have totalled £1,631.20 :j no wonder we feel a bit skint :rotfl:

In all seriousness though, delighted with that. Might have to OP another £68.80 though to round it up to £1700
