Hi ATB! Happy 2 Year MFW Anniversary!! What you have said is so true and inspirational! You learn on this journey what is more important in life and it certainly isn't keeping up with the Jones's!
Good luck with your payments this year and I will be watching and cheering you on! xx

  • Good morning,

Mr ATB up and gone to work at silly o'clock so I'm up with a cuppa.

83p Tilly tidy made to neaten current account up. Today will be a low spend day - need to buy flea treatment for cat and dog, and visit the post office. Dinner of prawn pasta and no doubt soup for lunch - it's blinking freezing here :snow_grin:snow_grin

Right, it's the big push to the 20s now, let's do this xx

  • Gosh it feels like it should be lunchtime already :rotfl:

No money making today sadly, all ebay items have ended and been paid for. Hoping to squirrel away £100 from housekeeping money this week to make an OP, let's see how we go.

I have a meeting about some more work today, fingers crossed that comes off and would add a bit more to the pot. Right, this laundry won't fold itself (sadly!)

    Happy two year anniversary ATB!

It's freezing here too - it was even snowing a little bit earlier on!

Have you thought about getting the flea treatments online (I'm not on commission, I just seem to be mentioning this a lot recently!)?

  • Thanks themadvix - no I hadn't considered that, what a good idea! Where is the best place to order them from in your experience?

Got some more consultancy work in today - £300 extra which will hit the account on Monday :j only trouble will be actually finding the time to do it, as DH is working all weekend. Suspect it will be in the evening when the kiddies are in bed x

We get our fancy flea stuff (advocate) from vet UK - we do have to get a prescription from the vet which is ~£10, but even with that it's probably about 30% cheaper than at the vet. They do standard non-rx ones like Frontline as well.
  • Thanks hidden shadow I'll take a look tonight xx

We have truly battened down the hatches this evening, it's freezing. Missing DH which is pathetic as he's only away tonight! But a good reminder of why we are on this journey so he won't have to be away from home.

Found one more treasure to list on eBay so that's tomorrow's job. My back and shoulders are carrying a lot of stress, roll on reiki in two weeks xx
