Maybe a little odd, but I feel like a grown up when I go to the post office and buy stamps!
Only had to do this twice in my life, but both times I've felt like a grown up. Maybe because it's something I really don't want to do and I'm usually standing in a queue full of old grey miserable !!!!!!s :)

Real grown ups don't buy stamps! They've always got a book in their purse already!:)

    Put your hands up.
  • When I was a teen, I thought I was really grown up when I had my first flat and had bills...addressed to me...through the post. I was really excited!

Ugh. Don't think I need say anymore.

Regards feeling grown up, it was probably when I got a Switch card.

That sounds as if it could have been me in front of you.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Whenever someone decides to "step up to the plate".

Some people never do this and therefore never become true adults.

I don't disagree, but its actually a word with a real definition, that you fit perfectly. You post to deliberately provoke and antagonise and then watch the reactions for entertainment, not to debate or offer advice in good faith

The report button is for abusive posts, - not because you don't like someone, or what they write!

Actually, its for any posts that break the forum rules.
  • I suppose I'm a grown up - married, mortgage, fulltime job *and* teenagers.

Doesn't stop my Inner Toddler having some pretty strong views. Or me indulging her. Some of the time!
