Maybe a little odd, but I feel like a grown up when I go to the post office and buy stamps!
Only had to do this twice in my life, but both times I've felt like a grown up. Maybe because it's something I really don't want to do and I'm usually standing in a queue full of old grey miserable !!!!!!s
Real grown ups don't buy stamps! They've always got a book in their purse already!:)

When I was a teen, I thought I was really grown up when I had my first flat and had bills...addressed to me...through the post. I was really excited!
Ugh. Don't think I need say anymore.0 -

Regards feeling grown up, it was probably when I got a Switch card.0 -
Troll seems to be a word that gets thrown around a lot, when people dislike something that's been written.0

Whenever someone decides to "step up to the plate".
Some people never do this and therefore never become true adults.0 -

I don't disagree, but its actually a word with a real definition, that you fit perfectly. You post to deliberately provoke and antagonise and then watch the reactions for entertainment, not to debate or offer advice in good faith

I suppose I'm a grown up - married, mortgage, fulltime job *and* teenagers.
Doesn't stop my Inner Toddler having some pretty strong views. Or me indulging her. Some of the time!0
