So you've defaulted on tens of thousands of pounds, and it's registered and visible at the CRAs, and Ulster Bank has given you a mortgage?
Well folks - problems solved here for many of you who have been refused a mortgage for trivial reasons. Ulster Bank is the place to go.0 -
Correct. Have you ever heard of regulation?
Yes I have and even if it was highly regulated it would still would be extremely poor due to them not having any incentive to invest money and become better to keep ahead of the competition.
So you really think that services such as the Police Force and the NHS which have no competition but are heavily regulated are running as efficiently as they possibly can and their is no way they could offer a better service?.0 -
I know. I don't know why you struggle with the concept.
You claim a CRA puts a customer on a blacklist. But then a company says, "I don't care about your blacklist, I'm giving them a credit card." Presumably, the CRA then say, "Oh, OK, never mind then."
They don't seem to do a very job at blacklisting people, do they?0 -

The incentive would be they'd lose their licence if they didn't shape up.0 -

Yep. all paid but still defaulted none the less and will be there for another 3 years.
and just to mix it up a little bit more its 120% mortgage, and at normal 90% rates
You see they looked at the whole picture, how debt was accrued, why it was defaulted on, etc etc, not just some list that only exists in your head.
Barclaycard had no issue giving me a 5000 limit either and my bank account allows me a 2950 overdraft too.
defaults for 9000, 10000, and 11000 showing0 -

You need to let them know you're on a blacklist and shouldn't be given credit.0 -

I think - correct me if I'm wrong - but Barclaycard only consult the Equifax blacklist. Maybe your defaults aren't reported there?0 -
