ive also got access to 3000 overdraft, and a normal Credit card with a 5000 limit
a "blacklist" doesn't exist
Haha. Very funny. Who's the mortgage provider?0 -
If you're late by one day for a payment of 0.01 p these agencies will blacklist you.
I logged in to a new credit card account and made a debit card payment.
The next statement showed interest charged. I phoned up, and they explained that the debit card payment in the evening was treated as taking a couple of days to clear, and then possibly backdated one, and thus a day late, which I hadn't anticipated.
As this was a first such occurrence they waived and refunded the interest.
And without me asking, there is nothing about late on the credit reference file.
Since then I've used faster payments transfer from the bank account.0 -

That's just a list.
Nonsense. How could you possibly make adherence to a blacklist compulsory? Blacklists in industry and commerce are normally just advisory.0 -
Just one CRA? Yes. My view is that the government should auction off a single licence for a UK CRA service. Having three agencies works very much against the interests of the consumer.
So you think having a CRA monopoly will help the consumers?. If there was only one CRA there would be no competition. This would mean that they would be free to charge whatever they wished for their subscriptions services and to the businesses that use them. This would result in all financial products becoming more expensive due to the extra costs. Plus you could say goodbye to the free ways to access your credit report because they would have no incentive to sign up to these agreements if they are the only place to access your report.
But I'm not surprised you would suggest this because your not even financially savvy enough to check your own credit report despite having a large number of credit cards and debt.
You also seem unable to learn new things because even when your told you are wrong you still continue to post the same incorrect information again and again!.0 -

Correct. Have you ever heard of regulation?0 -

There is no "list" creditors access credit files, they see payment history etc and decide whether to lend,
There is no list to say yes or no0 -

Not necessarily. Sorry, but you don't seem to understand the concept. We've had this discussion before, but to no avail, it seems.0
