  • #9 reporting in. We would have been credit card debt free if we hadn't purchased airline tickets to go abroad again next year. So now have £1150 on credit card and will try to tackle student loan and car loan in 2017. For a total of £14000 to pay next year. Yikes.

    It would have been lower but we did take a 3 week holiday and a couple of mini trips which we paid for during this year which set back further payments.

    Oh well, Happy Boxing Day everyone

    Didn't quite make it to my goal but I thanks to this challenge I managed to pay off £2995.50 this year. Really pleased and it has made a world of difference.

    Hoping to be debt free by the end of 2017, and after the success this year I have to confidence to go for it. See you in the new thread :)

    ok made it to my goal (a wee bit over so that was good) for this year after having to use my brain to calculate my numbers since snowball calculator still not working for me.
