    Debt-free and Proud!

My dearest darling Money Savers, I've just popped back with some news. I Paid off my Debt Free goal back in May but I was still left with a car finance account. I wasn't quite as embarrassed about this since it was actually for a purpose and not loans and credit cards build up on nothing!!! which is why I never added it to my debt free goal.

Anyway I just wanted you all to know that on 20th December I managed to pay off the car finance 20 months early £3,804.87. So I really am (unsecured) debt free.

I also wanted to thank you all for your advice and support over the last year, it really helps to have some people to talk to, and in a way to feel accountable to, I didn't want to let you down.

It's happened at the perfect time since DH is still off work sick and stops being paid after this month. But now that I have no debts I feel I can weather the storm a little better

Merry Christmas :xmastree: and a happy health and debt free new year to you all. :xmastree:
