Woop woop! My FINAL student loan payment went out today, meaning that it's COMPLETELY GONE FOREVER!!! :j It stood at a whopping £22k when I left Uni.

But the journey isn't over yet, of course... I'm still on track to be debt free (not including house and car) by early 2017. My next goal is to buy my replacement car with cash, which has meant a slight dialling back of my 'expectations' about what car I'll be getting! The mortgage is here to stay for quite a while yet, unfortunately.

    Anyway, total update...

Congrats on clearing the student loan. The money you were paying towards the student loan can now go towards saving for the new car. x

I'm sure that won't take you long to clear abba, I seen how you plough through you debts that haven't been included in this challenge. xx

Well done everyone on the payments. I can't believe we're at the end of October, this year is flying by. Will there be a new thread next year? just thinking ahead as I won't make it by this December.

Thanks Muppets for all your hard work x

I hope so... it would be a shame if it didn't carry on. I'll definitely be joining.
