  • Woop woop! My FINAL student loan payment went out today, meaning that it's COMPLETELY GONE FOREVER!!! :j It stood at a whopping £22k when I left Uni.

    But the journey isn't over yet, of course... I'm still on track to be debt free (not including house and car) by early 2017. My next goal is to buy my replacement car with cash, which has meant a slight dialling back of my 'expectations' about what car I'll be getting! The mortgage is here to stay for quite a while yet, unfortunately.

    Anyway, total update...
