Why do you have to move out? Is it utterly and completely impossible for the tradesmen to work round you and for you to put up with the inconvenience for a few days?

If the HA is insisting that you move out, then you will need to explain that you work shifts and ask for suitable temporary accommodation?

You should have No problems then with the credit cards you have and tax credits you receive paying for the helicopter

Helicopters must be pretty cheap these days. Where did you get yours? My credit cards are maxed out on pug puppies, a 50" tv and a fake michael Kors. Maybe I could ask for a reassessment of my tax credits. After all I am really poor and must be entitled to something more. I am so hard done by.

Nope. Sister definitely only posted the one about insurance. Imagine someone like me claiming tax credits and living in social housing has credit cards? I mean exactly how would one that feels so entitled and finding themselves in financial hardship even begin to find the intelligence to fill out a credit card application, let alone verbally serve a troll a taste of their own bitter medicament on a forum?

    What a plank.
  • If only I had thought of that! 210 mile round trip to work can't be that bad? Silly me for overlooking this.:eek:
It's only 10 days and work is kind of important. It's not like driving 210 miles round trip to use a computer inquiring on a message board about contents insurance.
  • We had this done, they just worked around us. Anything concerning gas is compulsory so you have no choice. You are lucky it's one thing, ours was full renovation..took up to 6 wks

Damn. It didn't cross my mind to check my tenancy agreement about having a visitor stay for a couple of days. I assumed it would be fine. I guess i better start packing now just incase I've broken the terms of lease. Or we could just keep this one a secret. I won't tell if you don't. :shhh::naughty:
  • where does your BF stay when he is not on the rigs? No one is offshore 365 days a year.
