many thanx to both redfox and frogling for clearing this up for me, i assumed that as you get 4 points per pound that when you come to spend they would take 4 points for every 1 pound of your puchase.

Now everything seems much clearer, i'll have a spring in my step for the rest of the day
"Watch out world here comes dragonfly" lololol

Also forgot to mention the stores i got my little me sets from have plenty left.
Boots in swindon centre and boots at greenbridge retail park also in swindon.
Running total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan
    Running total for superpoints -

I think the offer expires today, so you'd better be quick! Some stores seem to have stopped this offer from going through their tills now, but still working in lots of places.

I had a bit of an event in York buying these sets. The male cashier exclaimed that it was such a bargain that he was surprised i hadn't bought more ( i didn't like to mention the cupboard load i had at home), so of course couldn't resist and went to buy just a couple more sets.
However i made the big mistake of going to a different till, where the young girls eyes almost popped out of her head when she saw the total price. I said they were on a 'special promotion' 'They're never this special' she squawed. Her till collegue agreed that if it's on the till it must be the right price, but she wasn't having it and called the supervisor.
Now this is where i need hypnotherapy, because i heard the supervisor say ' Oh it's the same as .......... that goes through as less than the price of 1 also!' I keep playing the scenario in my mind to see if i can fill in the missing item! She said to put it through, so i paid; but this girl wouldn't let things lie and took the bag off me and said to follow her to see 2 other members of staff. After a couple of minutes deliberation i exclaimed that as i had paid i now wanted to leave , they could work the till out in there time not mine. Believe it or not the supervisor had to nudge this girl to give me my bag back saying ' the lady wants to leave!'
I could feel the girls eyes boring through me as i left the store.

I was so traumatised by this, i decided a couple of days later to try the Monks Cross store. Ths shelf was empty (ok , which MSE was it?) so i asked a nearby assistant who bought out one of each of the sets - apparantly 'there are quite a few in the store room' Lovely girl i thought as i left with arms ladden of goodies!

Sorry to see that you were treated so badly in the York store, that is shocking behaviour! Its not like we are walking out of the store with these products without going to the till. It is really hit and miss as to whether it will work or not, its not our fault if their tills mess up. Why do we have to feel like criminals?, I have bought 3 lots of sets which I spaced over a week and had to disguise them by buying additional things or talking lots to distract the assistant because I was so nervous. My palms were so sweaty as if I was committing a crime (not that I know what that feels like), what is wrong with us!! Welldone for standing your ground bbford and houseofpat.

Glad to see you got some more from Monks Cross, it was probably me who cleared the shelves there, but well done for asking for some more from the back. I didn't feel brave enough to ask!

3 for 2 across selected Little Me Toiletries.
Offer available until 7th June 2005, while stocks last.

Will have to make one last trip to town tomorrow then.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

Thanks to Charlotte for a great post - got lots of sets and 7 grooming vouchers as a result.

Have you seen some the prices for the "pamper sets" on ebay, with postage some cost more than in Boots

Same here! was in the store last week and although they had several in the clearance section (also upsatirs) I was wary of buying the clearance ones as some of the similar priced items did'nt go through at 3 for 2 as it said nothing aboout the 3 for 2 and bought the ones with the baby items and other little me product as it had the 3 for 2 sign on them.
The staff appeared aware of the prices and said something about it being christmas stock and all gift sets should have been sold out which is why they were 3 for 2 now.
