I bought 3 more aroma bears, 2 Pupa sets and a Betty Boop mirror. The total charge was £16.47 (I think). The assistant said I could not have the extra 75 points for a £20 spend, as I had not spent enough and she did not put through the 10% voucher either, but somehow, I only got charged £14.21. I then realised I had been overcharged on the Pupa sets, £5 instead of £3. I got a £10 refund. I paid £4.21 for the mirror, which should have been £4.50 and got paid to take the bears away, plus 587 points.

My Boots store has never got round to advertising the 3 for 2 offer at all. After my first Little Me shop, when the assistant twigged that they were coming up very cheap, she said she'd check the Little Me prices and label up the shelf accordingly. I saw her when I next went in and she said "I've sorted it", but when I looked, the only LM gift sets that were reduced (by quite a goodly amount, as it happens) were the ex-Christmas stock ones, that don't work on the 3 for 2 offer anyway.

call me silly if you will but I dont understand the points system, i know you get 4 points for every pound.
I purchased the little me aroma bears 3x14.99, i did get the discount and got the lot for 4.98 pluss the 500pts BUT

this thread lead me to beleive that by taking advantage of this offer you were actually making profit (about 41p)

i cant understand how this works

    4.98p spent
    539 points = ?

could someone please explain this as the boots website isn't very helpful
if i had 1000 point how much money is that to spend on another item?

thank you in advance from an advantage card newbie
Running total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan

when you come to spend your points they are worth 1p per point, so 1000 points equals £10. In the example above you are gaining 539 points (£5.39) for spending £4.98 so your gain is 41 points (41p) :)

    Hi Dragonfly

    1000 points = £10

With the Little Me sets, the extra 500pts (which is the equivalent of £5) is, I believe, from a previous 'Spend £xx on baby, get 500 points offer). Plus, you also get the points you would normally be given from your £4.98 spend. Therefore, Boots are giving you £5.39 in points, whilst you are only spending £4.98, hence your 41p profit. Hope that all makes sense!
