  • What about some Death Wish coffee, never tried it myself, but allegedly the strongest coffee in the world.

Oh wow I LOVE the packaging lol. I think it would take this stuff to revive me, the state I'm in! Pity about the price though..

A third vote for Taylor's Lazy Sunday! Also, i had forgotten about Viennese -style, a bit different, nothing astonishing, just very nice. I do like a dark roast after evening meal, with a drop of cream in :D

It is a while since I indulged in real coffee at home, you have inspired me! Thanks,

I don't even have any instant in the house. If I'm in a hurry, I use my second device, which is the AeroPress (http://www.aeropresscoffee.co.uk/). Almost as quick as instant, tastes as good as a cafetiere. And can even just about make a passable espresso.

For those who grind their coffee beans, Aldi currently have beans in as a special that are a good buy, judging by the bag I've tried.

They have 454 g bags of Guatamala and Columbian for £3.99 (£8.79 per kilo) at my local. I couldn't find them on the website so perhaps they're not available everywhere.

The Guatamala is a fairly dark roast (darker than I'd normally go for) but makes a very nice smooth and rich brew without any stale notes so must be quite freshly roasted. I'm going back today to pick up a few more bags for the freezer.
