Sounds like all is progressing well - and exciting!
I used to get acrylic nails (and some awesome nail art) over the space of about 6 months or so a couple of years ago, but then I went away to work for a while so stopped it. I also struggled with the acrylics because they were so thick! I've worked hard to take care of my own so they are longer & stronger now, but I'd love to find someone who can do the nail art again - that was my little treat. We definitely need the planned-for treats when working hard to clear the debts/live frugally.Sept 2018

Getting confused now between you and seaside girl must be old age.
The kitchen plans are coming on well , I remember you saying months ago about the colour you wanted but now I can't remember. Was it a grey one ?
I love London SSG but my mum is convinced you need to be an athlete the speed everyone goes at lol. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1 -

My nails have never been strong Seaside Girl so I rely on my 'falsies' quite a bit. My mum had lovely strong nails and so does DSis, but the Nail Fairy missed me out!:(. Trouble is that I rely on them so much I can't give them up! Thank god I never went in for hair extensions - would have cost me an arm and a leg!:eek:Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hi Cumbria- kitchen plans are progressing. The Howdens planner came round yesterday morning to measure up and take down details of what I want and is going to let me have a 3D plan to look at. I've changed my original plans slightly - still going for dove grey but having gloss cabinets and laminate concrete effect worktops. Have decided to have navy blue metro effect tiles around the tops of the hob and worktops with icy blue walls - so quite modern and sleek but then, it's a modern flat without much character.
Agree with your mum about the speed that everyone walks at in London! And half of them are looking at phones as well! You also get the "People Who Run To Work" and those who ride large versions of a child's two wheel scooter to contend with on the pavements as well!:eek:Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

This week has sped by again!
I really enjoyed the Soft Cell concert last week. Sell out at the O2 and great atmosphere. DSIs and I worked out that it was about 34 years since we'd seen them last!
I actually started on Xmas pressies this week. Saw a beautiful calendar in Daunt Books of some lovely paintings of Scottish landscapes for DD - some of them reminded me of her own place up there. Also DD, DSis and I want to see Gillian Anderson and Lily James in the stage adaptation of "All About Eve" next year so I've bought DSIs's ticket for her birthday and DD's for Xmas. I've ranted in the past about the price of West End tickets and the booking fees so I won't go into one again but suffice to say I needed a stiff drink after booking them!
Yesterday I met a friend for lunch who I haven't seen for few months- she treated me to a Turkish afternoon tea which we've done before and really enjoyed. Today I met my other friend for brunch - I had my usual breakfast omelette with sausage - lush! My turn to pay. We sat outside wrapped up in the sun - though you can feel the autumn coming on now!
I put the heating on for in the living room the first time last night as it felt quite chilly after all the rain we had.
Anyway ironing for me later on - will have to decide what film I'm going to watch while I do it!
Have a good Sunday everyone!Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Your kitchen sounds really modern, I bet you can't wait for it to start.
Prices are sometimes ridiculous for shows, I don't know where they get them from.
Living near Salford Quays , we have The Lowry Theatre , if you live in a salford postcode you can register for £10 tickets . They are short notice usually , but my mum, daughter and I have been to see some really good shows for £10 including warhorse .
The weather here has been lovely this weekend no rain, been up in the hills today and it was cold , but lovely.
Have a good week. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1
