For the past few years, Beckside Barn has been successfully run as a holiday let through Sykes Cottages with exceptionally high occupancy levels during that period
Suggests to me that despite the small % price drops, they're in no hurry to sell: they don't live there, and it's a reasonably successful business.0 -
yes it fronts a road, but that road is a dead end and the google streetview car stopped just after the viaduct as that is where the road ceases to be "public" as there are only 2 houses beyond it. Doubtless you'd get thundering tractors passing by the house at times, but I doubt it is "busy"
It doesn't need to be a busy road to be dangerous. It's unlikely to be a similar situation, but my scariest encounter with an oncoming vehicle was on a private, dead end road.
I was going to the last premises, to collect some plants, when a speeding Range Rover suddenly appeared, head on, but luckily I could swerve into a hedge.
This lady, according to the planter seller, was often late for appointments so would hare along the lane.0 -
