Can a SLIDING HASP BOLT be added to a upvc door?

  • Thanks so much for the reply, very helpful. So both those locks would work according to my measurements except the lower one is just a better quality lock.

    Yes they would.
    For me, the cheaper 1 star cylinder would be fine. UPVC doors tend to have other weaknesses that a determined intruder would get by regardless of the quality of the cylinder. You're just deterring the more "casual" criminal by fitting a better quality lock.
