Even if you had proof of delivery paypal would refund as the address is unconfirmed, think yourself lucky it was only £2.99 and not the £110 I was ripped off forstevew8975 wrote: »It was only 2.99 and an unconfirmed address, so all I have is proof of postage, not delivery.

Here's a way you could prove it! If you received a receipt from the post office when you posted it, it will state the weight of the item. If dvd's are a regular item you sell and are packaged the same way each time you could check the weight on the receipt against a packaged case with cd and an empty one (if you see what I mean). If you don't have the receipt then I guess this wouldn't work.0

 :A
Mis-spelling the odd word is perfectly acceptable. Using words not in a dictionary is a good idea on a site that filters out swearwords.
I was *just* commenting to OH how people use amazing versions of some words that will not be picked up by said filter.
And don't diss Wiki, even my mother uses it!:wall:0 -

It's almost impossible to tell, as the number of DVD's I send out vary from about 90g for a cardboard case, to 180 for a double disc. Some have loads of inserts and the cases weigh slightly different amounts.
I'm not bothered about the £2.99, it's risk management that I'm happy with, but it's the fact that they have blatantly lied, and not for the first time judging by the feedback. I would imagine he already has a black mark or two on his eBay form sheet, so one more from me should topple it.
Just biding my time for a while. Let him think he has got away with it:p<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

You're bang out of order with this comment. Your choice of words in your post was offensive. Someone has pulled you up on this and you insult him. I agree with him so now you can insult me too.0 -
Why refund him?
The buyer has confirmed he received the item and even has a record of pulling the 'I didn't get disc stunt' in the past going by his feedback.
You wait for him to open a dispute which I doubt he would do, also I am sure you will win, tell paypal you 100% know for sure you put the disks in. How good is your feedback compared to his?
I never sell dvds shrink wrapped because in the past some have been missing or even damaged, yours were not shrink wrapped.0 -
A general snipe at dishonest RM staff (no, not all RM staff are dishonest ) is not quite the same as a personal attack on a poster (ie. accusing a specific person of being chavvy.) Which is a worse insult? 'Chavvy' or 'troll'? Answers on an email to who.really.cares@flaming.co.uk
I think mike raised the stakes here, tbh. And poking fun at spelling mistakes is never big or clever. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
