Surely Quidco should police these rogue companies better. If there is no reasonable excuse why cashback payments are being declined they should not be allowed to use the Quidco services..

It's more than likely that it's buyers error rather than a problem with Quidco or their merchants

As unusual as it may sound to you, you're wrong.
Quidco advised me, after a less than thorough and year long investigation, that NPower had pulled out of central heating cover completely, and as such there was no obligation on them to pay out.

So I guess we could say no fault on quidcos part.

Except the point still remains. They appear to be a business who can offer and profit off products, but have no responsibility to provide them or anything they've advertised. - nice work if you can get it.

They can't really lose - if they actually pay what they advertised the customer is happy and feels like they've made something out of nothing, and quidco cream off the top.

If they don't provide the service, noone has any reproach, and quidco get a meek "well, you shouldn't expect it anyway"

    Not bad eh.

I'm still waiting for £33 cash back for rentalcars, via Quidco. Booked and paid in May, but it doesn't count until car returned. That was August.

I've complained twice. They are trying, apparently.

The company is no longer offered for cash back by Quidco, but I've booked with them again. Their deals are good.

I've used Quidco 6 times this year and problems with 2 transactions, so 1/3rd.
TCB gets used multiple times per month with virtually no issues.
So I'm not convinced the errors are mine.
Pizza Hut from May finally paid out in November.
M&S from July had an expected resolution date of 2 Dec, then 6 Dec, then 10th December, after which time it vanished so there is nothing there now but "there is a problem".

If they didnt have the occasional good offer I would shut the account and use TCB exclusively.

    First time using Quidco.
How do I get my cashback from Quidco, it says I have tracked cashback but my payable cashback is £0?

You need to wait until it moves to the confirmed column.

NPower and Quidco in my experience were rubbish, it took a year before it finally paid out!

If you ever get declined cashback, just dispute it and provide your evidence. That's happened to me a few times, one with hotels.com where I changed a booking after I made it and a couple of times with hungry house for less than a pound!

I see it as a nice little bonus, but don't use it as decision making for a deal. I've earned over £2.5k using Quidco with even more tracked. Yes some things don't track, but it's the retailer's fault or the user's fault it doesn't track (ad blockers.etc).
