  • Each year a few members would go to their banks, sometimes several months after renewal, and claim that they had not authorised renewal. The bank would then, without question, claw the money back and charge us for the privilege!

    Yup, its called the direct debit guarantee. If you don't like it don't use it. I suspect you make far far more money out of people who don't notice your grubby little fingers swiping money from there accounts than the few that get refunds.

    If it really does bother you then send reminders.... no thought not!!!

    Bet you that it's not, and they use a continuous authority on debit/credit cards.
