How to track down vendor
Comments

Why would I come on here asking a question if it was a wind up, I don't get these comments? The carpet doesn't look like it did when I viewed the house and there are other threads here with people asking about problems after they completed and no one is saying its a wind up.0

How to track down a vendor.... ....
1. Buy a bloodhound
2. Let it look at the light, walk on the carpet and sniff the fence, then:search:.
3. :wall: This will take care of itself.
If this is not a joke, then for future reference - completion is just that. All trade negotiations are concluded and the sale has occurred. No 30 day money back guarantee, no haggling.0 -

Most people who have problems after completion have them because there was something that the seller didn't disclose. Your problem looks like a wind up because no one can believe that anyone would attempt to buy a house if they didn't know a) what it involved b) what to expect c) what they were buying.
So either it is a wind up or you need to go to the library more often.0 -

I think our posts crossed, but seriously I stand by my previous post. You may be genuine, so fair enough - but your issues are minor so it appears that you must be a wind up. Those types come on here too.
The other posts are also stating that your issues are minor and remedies you can use so why not focus on that if you really need advice for the things in your OP?0 -

You clearly haven't seen the two threads about the buyers living in a camper van on the sellers drive, and the buyers who wanted to bury their Great Dane in the vendors fishpond then?
You are either so naive it's almost beyond parody, or an excellent windup merchant. I hope for your sake it's the latter. Have a chat with some colleagues at work about dents in the carpet for furniture, take in their stunned expressions.
I'm wondering if, when you bought a new carpet and then noticed dents in it where your furniture is, if you'd be complaining to the carpet or the furniture company ?0 -

Yes, because the furniture was in the way, and now that it's gone (as would be apparent to the average man or woman in the street) it has left dents in the carpet.
Please refer to my earlier comments. You did not buy a new carpet, you bought a used one.0 -

Indeed, the trouble with asking this on a forum is that OP can't hear the thud of readers' jaws hitting the desk as they drop, nor do they recoil as the reader splutters half their morning coffee over the keyboard.
OP, tell others in your life how you feel about this, face to face, and see what they say0 -

They'll be lots of giggling on the swings in the playground then......0 -
Never watched Big Bang Theory, then?
It's not just a picture, it's a whole scene and a running gag for pretty much the whole season thereafter....

Recognised the guy in the pic and seen a few episodes but missed that whole series it seems. Nice clip.0 -
