When did you get told it had to go to underwriters? At the application stage?

Hmmm... We didn't get told that on the interview/application call so maybe we don't have to go to underwriters in that case? He just said the processors need to check the bank statement and 1 months payslips for us both!

Maybe yours won't reach underwriters.. mine got sent to them because of my credit rating!

Do you mind if I ask what rating they gave you? Do you know? They said ours was A3.

We went through a broker so wasn't give that information I'm afraid

Ah well. I'll just have to wait and see I suppose. I'm really not very good with waiting, especially when I dont know how long I will have to wait! I just got a call to book the survey who I am taking as a good sign. I called Halifax and the process team can't see any reason why it would be delayed as I have "passed the credit check" so as long as my income matches what I said then it will be fine. Annoyingly they haven't received my documents as they get processed before going to the processing team (yeah, I know!!) so there is a delay for that too. I need a hobby to distract me for a while... ha!

I am entirely the same so I understand....I am not good with waiting at all. A distraction would definitely be a good idea!

When's your valuation? At least you know you're approved provided that's ok!

Approved subject to valuation though....Valuation is booked for today...so now it is just a waiting game
