Hi, just to confirm:
1. Acknowledgement of Service - Tick box 1. I intend to defend all of this claim
2. Defence and Counterclaim (specific amount) - Do not make any marks on this paper at all.
3. Send off to Northampton and start to work on my defence and wait for a response (or logon to moneyclaim.gov?)
I am reading through everything but so much to take in.
Thank you0 -
Acknowledgement of Service sent via Money Claim Online - I intend to defend all of this claim. Now to get me defence in order.
As I have done this, can I still ask the landowner to get this charge dismissed or offer a settlement figure of the original cost?
Thanks0 -
Yes and yes.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Morning All, I have received a settlement figure of £150 if I pay within 14 days, its a reduction of £25, its not much hey?0
-
So it's not worth bothering with then.0
-
Shall I counter offer?0
-
Do you want to? How much are you proposing to offer?
Unless it is close to the original (discounted) PCN value (£60?) then PE won't bite.0
