Sorry to jump on this thread but couldn't figure out how to start a new one.
I got a fine for allegedly staying in a Parking Eye car park without paying. I had paid, however the ticket machine only allowed me to enter the first 4digits of my plate (used to be common practice I seem to remember).
I sent the ticket, which matches their photograph in time and date and first half of my reg but they are not accepting this as evidence of my payment...!?!? Although, as a "gesture of good will" they are reducing the fine to £20...I am adamant that I won't pay this.
Does anybody know the best procedure to take following this reduction in fine?0 -
