Same here, maybe I'm too boring to be part of the clique. My ignore list is steadily growing though, so either people are becoming more irritating or my tolerance of keyboard warriors is diminishing..

I seem to recall (from some analysis I did a while back) that about half of the registered users had never posted anything*, and roughly a third had asked one question, received replies and were never heard from again.

The 'active' base of users is probably under 10,000 - and a number of them are no doubt AEs.

ETA:
* Yep. Only 808,000 'users' - out of the total user membership figure of 1,567,000 stated by MSE - have ever posted even 1 post.
(And some of those 'users' will of course be AEs or spammers ...)

See this is how I view MSE. I take what I want from it - light entertainment. However, from my reading of those who have been permanently PPRd, playing nicely within the rules isn't enough to secure your safety here. I guess the answer is to play them at their own game with our own AEs if/when we get PPRd.
