Hi Tiger lily , my fur boy would only eat james wellbeloved dry, I asked on here and paddy paws suggested raw. And gave me a great link to cats c r a p on face book it's a closed group that feed raw and offer fantastic advice.
I ordered pre made raw from kiezebrink, after trying him with bits of raw mince and lamb offcuts.
He adores it and no longer will touch the dry, I can add warm water to it so he gets plenty of water now, as is noticeable from his litter tray !!!
He gets 3 or 4 meals a day and is around 13 weeks.
He was flea and worm treated by the cats protection, and is due to be treated for fleas again next week. I was told mum can pass on worms which is why they treat kittens early, then he should only need treating when he goes outside. X

Adorable kittens Tigerlilly, looks like they will be big if they grow to match those cute ears.
Another MSE food suggestion would be Day Old Chicks which cost about 10p each from pet shops, PAH might even have some if you ask for them. Great balanced food for a growing cat.

If you're buying from Keizebrink then they also sell day old chicks and perhaps try some mice too as a whole food option. You could start off with pinkies or small mice and gradually increase size as they get older.

Hi all! The monsters seem huge now, Loki was 2.0kg exactly when last weighed & Luna 1.91kg

They are 20 weeks old tomorrow, 5 months on 19th & Loki is being castrated on Wednesday but we won't tell him that XD

They have settled with Animonda Carny Kitten food & attack it like starving savages when fed, so I assume they like it as they definitely aren't starving

They had their microchips the other day & apparently didn't scream, and love playing fetch still, especially Luna while Loki watches, he knows he isn't allowed to take her mouse!

No interest in going out yet which is good as they won't be for a while, I am hoping not until they are a year old or at least in the Spring

I never knew how naughty & loud this type of cat can be, even after living with full Siamese, when it's time for food they hang from the kitchen glass window & scream!

Feral moon do you give day old chicks as they come or do you need to do anything to prepare them ?

cats tummies are designed to digest raw meat. Chicken wings raw are fine for kittens - they need to eat bone. When I get a kitten I will start it off on raw. My 15 yo cat refuses to crunch bones or cartiledge - even the tips & so I mix ground eggshells into her complete meals as they calcium is essential.

This made me chuckle because our two (just moggies) literally hang on the panes of our glass kitchen door and shout until their food is in the bowls :rotfl:
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!
