Romantic meal disaster!!

When I first cooked a meal for my boyfriend (now husband) I decided to make a spag bol for him. His parents had gone out so I thought I'd go to the house and look after him & make his tea!
Everything was perfect, all cooked as it should be. I was getting ready to serve up and drained the spaghetti in to a plastic sieve.
Unfortunately as I was tipping it onto plates it all slid out and went on to the floor, which at the time were hairy carpet tiles!!!
OH just stood there peeing himself laughing while I on the other hand turned the air blue while trying to pick it all up!
Needless to say the whole lot was ruined and went in the bin. Who would want to eat hairy spaghetti lol. I even threw the sauce & meat as I was mortified it had turned in to a disaster!
Was quite a while before I made that dish again! Although after 17 years I have improved and he never complains about my cooking so I must be doing something right!!

When I were a lass I had a lovely plate chicken and mushroom pie in the freezer.
So to impress himself I took it out, defrosted it, made some roasties and veg.
I cut open the pie to portion it and it was apple pie.0 -

Haven't you heard of the '5 hour rule'? Umm, it might be 5 minutes.0
