  • Christmas card and fiver for the bin collectors - well, we never have the same ones round here. It's a gesture, no more. We also give a Christmas card and a fiver to the guy who leaves out doorstep milk at 4 am, and the one who delivers our local paper. Nothing very sinister in it, I'd have thought.

A-Ha! So Margaret has finally confessed.
I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.

I do half the bin men's job anyway - sorting the rubbish, taking the bin to the edge of the road, taking the non-eligible items to the tip.

They should be giving me a fiver at Christmas!

There have been several tongue-in-cheek 'husband and Margaret' threads, :)

My father left my mother for a Margaret, a colleague's husband left her for a Margaret, and a friend's husband left her for a Margaret. All within a few months!

Dear Lord - she must have a very large house. Or a very large patio.............
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
