Well done to everyone running today, sounds like some great progress is being made.
So just back from my run and chuffed to say I ran the full 25 minutes of week 6 run 3. Found it really tough, had a horrible stitch and felt sick at one point, but at least it's done. On to week 7.....May'18 DEBT FREE!

You have to now as you have told the whole world wide web that you will be goingFletchasketch wrote: »So just back from my run and chuffed to say I ran the full 25 minutes of week 6 run 3. :T:T:T:T Well done :T:T:T
To me you are on the home straight looking at the plan the last few weeks where it is only increasing the running for a couple of minutes each week seems easier compared to the big jumps at the beginning. I think once you have made the 25mins non stop that is the worst bit done. Of course I might be proved completely wrong once I get there, but thats what I keep telling myself.0 -
well done - I'm dreading the stepup to 8 minutes never mind 250

Well done!! :T:T Brilliant.
Stitch is terrible, so you've done brilliantly to run through.

Thanks!
I remember thinking at the 5 minute point, there is no WAY I can do this 5 times, but by the time I got to 12.5 there was no way I was giving up. Hard to believe that a month ago I was only running for a few minutes at a time, and struggling with it too!
One thought did occur, was that I definitely need to keep up the yoga as my joints felt quite stiff and they definitely don't when I'm yoga-ing regularly. I think the plan will be to do a session every day that I don't run- famous last words! To anyone wanting to get in to yoga, would recommend 'Yoga with Arienne' on Youtube. I did the 30 days of yoga camp earlier this year and it's brilliant.
I hope everyone's feeling good about their runs this week, won't be able to go out again until Wednesday but now I've said it on here, I have to do it....:rotfl:May'18 DEBT FREE!

Haha, thanks, but I bet I didn't! This was my second attempt, and I definitely couldn't have gone any further!

Tomorrow is the first day of week 7. I'm doing it on a tredmill - usually while I watch this morning or loose woman haha. What about you?0 -

There is obviously something wrong with my tablet, as whatever you posted there came out on my screen as "ran the full 25 minutes"....:rotfl:
Oh, wait a minute...... suppose it's TRUE?

Day 1 of Week 2, re-done!
I am not so sure that i am going to redo the whole of week 2, as i found that with the great breathing tips i got after my last run, todays run wasn't anywhere near as difficult! It's never my legs that hurt, always my lungs.
So i am going to try week 3 day 1 on my next run.
Fletch- well done!! :j:T Wow, i bet that feels good! I cannot wait to get to that point.
sweetilemon- good luck with todays week 7!
I love the idea of doing yoga, but am worried i'd fart in public, as i always fart when doing yoga:rotfl: TMI? Haha!
I am due to run again on Wednesday, but am not sure if i should leave it till Thursday as i have to fast for a blood test all day Wednesday and am not sure if it's a good idea to run when fasting. What do you all think?0
